The Dark Side of Steve JobsThis sounds like a geeky footnote, but was actually a dramatic power grab. It means developers can no longer write apps in languages like C# and Flash and then use tools that automatically convert their code into iPhone-compatible software. This has become common practice, especially among games developers, including Electronic Arts, which links in an unsupported language called Lua.

  1. mono sounds like the way to go for targeting iphone, droid and others.. the fact that Jobs is trying to thwart rebel forces and control mind-share is nothing new.. his evangelists touted pixar, renderman, next.. iphone platform has a hold so he trying to grab us all again.. Gates and Jobs are both part of evil empires just opposite sides of the spectrum. I remember being wooe’d by Job’s at a Windows Conference in 1990.. I believed that Jobs was leading the revolution. but I was a corp jock and programmed Microsoft only. Now, my eyes are open to see both are wizards that hide behind curtains with mega tendencies.. hell, Gate is past OS wars. Gates is backing a new form of nuclear reactor. he wants control of all electric power, in the guise of philathophy..
